Your employee may also need some, or part, of the day away from work to be able to accomplish this, so it is important that you plan workplace training for when that individual’s skills will not be required.

Not only does this help them become proficient in workplace processes, but it can also allow them to update any skill sets during times of change, and to ensure that they are able to grow, both as workers and people.
